Received excellent news on independence day!! Our house valuation came in spot on :)). So happy. At last I can say- Let the construction begin!!

Another contract done!

Henley build contract has been signed! After panicky beginnings it sailed smoothely. We had few issues with surprise pricing for stepdown to garage and increasing the slab height. We need to check what the damage was tomorrow...!!

Things moving now

All documents needed for tax claims are in. Set up time for tomorrow to complete the claims.

Three external quotes for minimal fitouts (Flooring, Driveway and curtains) required by bankwest are in working on fence and front landscaping quote. Tye process will be complete the coming weekend.

House contract signing date is set on 31 Jul 2014. Appointment with homeloan broker set immediately after that.

Documentation for bankloan application will be ready by next week.

Funds from friends is confirmed for $10000. Received first $2000 from Venu.

Sandhya's first mid-wife appointment done.

Sandhya's 14 week scan results are in. All good.

Sandhya's appointment for 20th week scan is set on 20 Aug 2014

Sandhya's preg- diabetes test is scheduled for tomorrow.

Waiting on decision for Sandhya's company car hire!! Any minute now :)

House tender signed, contract signing earmarked for July 31st, Sandhya's Pregnancy announced!!!:), valuation struggles real, Raising money - $10000 from friends, severely restrictive budget, should bring 60K to table for loan application, applying for loan- late July 2014, car service, Budget for any valuation shortfalls, Budget for post handover things to do (flooring, curtains, fencing, front landscaping and driveway), apply for Sandhya's parents' visa and buy their airticket, start construction, budget for independant inspection of construction process, budget for Sandhya's pregnancy- hospital visits and other costs. Its going to be a fantastic year!!
